Achieve Clarity and Change with Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Therapy
Tailored care resulting in you feeling accurately heard, seen and understood.
(No cookie-cutter approaches used here.)
Working with me, your experience in therapy will be tailored to your unique needs. Through advanced EMDR therapy and attachment-focused techniques, you'll experience deep, lasting transformation that extends well beyond our sessions. This evidence-based approach doesn't just manage symptoms; it resolves core issues permanently, reducing your need for ongoing therapy while helping you build healthier relationships and reach your full potential.
For families, my distinctive dyadic treatment brings parents and children together in the healing process, creating lasting change in your family dynamic. Rather than treating parent and child separately, this unified approach acknowledges the profound influence parents have in their children's lives. With specialized training in childhood trauma, EMDR, and Theraplay, your family receives comprehensive care that creates meaningful, lasting results.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill insurance for treatment. Some benefits of paying privately include more privacy and more control in our work together. However, I’ve found that many insurance companies will cover my services as an out-of-network provider. If you have a PPO, I can provide a “super bill” that you could submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A super bill is a detailed record of payment with special codes for what kind of service was provided along with my license number. I recommend calling your insurance to find out what reimbursement will look like for an out-of-network provider.

A therapist is a general term that can include licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), and licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCCs). A psychologist, typically a Ph.D. or Psy.D., has advanced training in assessment and diagnosis, and can provide therapy and psychological testing.

Many insurance plans do cover EMDR therapy. However, you should check your benefits coverage with your individual insurance plan. EMDR may not be appropriate for individuals with active psychosis, severe dissociation, or those who are not yet emotionally stable enough to process traumatic memories. A qualified EMDR therapist will assess readiness before beginning.

Several evidence-based approaches are effective for trauma, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). The “best” approach depends on the individual’s needs, trauma history, and readiness for certain types of work. A trauma-informed therapist can help determine the right fit.
